Routine Cleanings & Dental Exams
The cheapest dentistry you will ever buy is the visit where nothing was wrong.
Every expensive problem in dentistry was once a small one. A professional cleaning removes the tartar your brush cannot, and the exam that comes with it is where cavities, gum disease and failing old work get caught while they are still simple.
For patients crossing the border, a cleaning and exam is also the easiest way to meet the practice: one unhurried visit, a full picture of your mouth, and a written plan if anything needs attention — with no pressure attached to it.
What a visit includes
A real examination
Teeth, gums, existing restorations and soft tissue are checked, with imaging when it is due. The exam looks for what is starting, not only for what already hurts.
A professional cleaning
Tartar and staining are removed above and below the gum line, and the visit ends with polished, smooth surfaces that are easier to keep clean at home.
A plan only if you need one
If something needs attention you leave with a written plan in English, in priority order. If nothing does, you leave with exactly that answer.
How often should I really come?
For most patients, professional cleanings every six months keep problems small and gums healthy. Some mouths — heavy tartar formers, gum disease history, smokers — do better on a shorter interval. Yours is set from what your gums actually show, not from a default.
Is it worth crossing the border for a cleaning?
Many of our patients think so: an unhurried appointment, imaging when due and a specialist exam in one visit. It is also the lowest-stakes way to evaluate the practice before trusting it with bigger work — which is exactly how many of our implant patients started.

“Very pleased and impressed with the professional service and attention given at this clinic. All of the staff is very attentive. Dr. Erika answered all my questions and concerns, she explained in detail the whole process of my braces…”
“Thank you so much for saving the day. I don’t remember the last time I had such a painful toothache. My wisdom teeth were definitely not helping. Thank you for taking me in last second…”

- A treatment plan written in English
- A direct line to the clinic once you are home
A routine cleaning is comfortable for most patients. If your gums are inflamed or sensitive, the visit is adjusted — including anesthesia where it genuinely helps.
No. Imaging follows intervals based on your risk and history, not a fixed habit. When imaging is proposed, you will know why.
You get a written plan in English with priorities and options — and time to decide. Nothing is treated in the same appointment without your agreement.
Yes, and cross-border patients often do: a cleaning and exam pairs naturally with consultations for larger treatment on the same trip.
Constantly, and without lectures. The first visit simply establishes where things stand and what order to address them in.
