Dental Bridges
Replacing a missing tooth using the teeth on either side as support — with an honest comparison against an implant.
A bridge is faster than an implant and involves no surgery. It also requires preparing the two neighbouring teeth, which may be perfectly healthy, and it does nothing for the bone under the gap.
That trade is the whole decision. You are exchanging enamel on two teeth for speed and the avoidance of surgery, and whether it is a good exchange depends almost entirely on the condition of those two teeth.
There are cases where a bridge is genuinely the better answer: insufficient bone with no appetite for grafting, a medical reason to avoid surgery, or adjacent teeth that already need crowns for their own reasons. In that last case the bridge costs you nothing extra in tooth structure, and it becomes the obvious choice.
How the decision is made
The neighbours examined
The teeth on either side carry the bridge. Whether they are sound, already restored or periodontally compromised changes the recommendation entirely.
The gap measured
Span length, bite force and the bone under the gap decide whether a bridge will hold, and for how long.
Made, fitted, checked
Shade and shape matched to your own teeth, the fit verified at the margins, and the bite balanced before cementation.
Bridge or implant?
An implant preserves the neighbouring teeth and the bone under the gap; a bridge is quicker and avoids surgery. When the adjacent teeth already need crowns, the bridge stops costing you anything extra and becomes the stronger option.
How do I clean under a bridge?
With a floss threader or an interdental brush beneath the false tooth, daily. It is the single habit that decides how long a bridge lasts, and it is taught at fitting rather than mentioned in passing.
What it costs
Prices in USD. Every plan is confirmed after imaging and clinical evaluation; the written estimate you receive before treatment is the one that applies.
Before & After
Bridge cases are photographed against the adjacent teeth and recorded at the margins, since the two things that fail are appearance where the false tooth meets the gum and hygiene underneath it. Both are visible in a good record and hidden in a bad one.

Frequently asked
What patients ask before they book. If yours is not here, the fastest answer is a call.
- Your case planned in 3D before treatment begins
- A treatment plan written in English
- A direct line to the clinic once you are home
It should not. The false tooth is shaped to emerge from the gum the way a natural one does, and the shade is matched to the teeth beside it rather than to a whiter version of them.
It is normally two clinical steps, preparation and fitting, with a temporary bridge in between. Whether they fit into one trip depends on laboratory turnaround.
That option stays open, but the bone under the gap keeps resorbing while the bridge is in place. If an implant is what you eventually want, doing it first is usually simpler than doing it later.
How many visits this takes is something you can know before you book the drive.
Preparation, laboratory time and fitting are what set the schedule, and yours is written out before you commit to it. Where a crown can be finished in a single visit, that is said plainly.

Request your consultation
The bridge-or-implant question is answered by the condition of two specific teeth and the bone between them. A consultation puts the imaging in front of you and lays out both options with their real trade-offs.
