Getting to the Studio
Three ways to arrive, and the one that suits you depends mostly on what is being done that day.

Driving across
Simplest, and the right choice when you will be numb or sore afterwards or bringing someone with you. The vehicle queue on the return is the trade-off.

Park and walk
Parking on the U.S. side and crossing on foot avoids the vehicle queue entirely, with a short ground journey to Zona Río on this side.

Through the airport
For patients flying in, the pedestrian bridge into the Tijuana terminal puts you minutes from the district without a border queue.
Plan Your Transportation Ahead of Time
If your treatment involves sedation, you must not drive afterward. We’ll help you plan your transportation before your appointment.
You can bring someone who can drive you home or arrange transportation that allows you to cross the border on foot and get home safely.

We want your visit to be as comfortable and stress-free as possible. If you have any questions about parking, please feel free to contact us before your appointment.
Driving or Walking Across the Border
Both options are convenient! You can drive to our clinic or park on the U.S. side and walk across the border. The best option simply depends on your personal preference and what works best for your appointment.
After a surgical appointment
If sedation is involved you should not drive afterwards, and that is planned into the appointment rather than discovered at the end of it. Bringing someone with you, or crossing on foot with transport arranged on the U.S. side, are the two workable arrangements.

Frequently asked
I am crossing from San Diego for a short appointment. What is fastest?
Usually parking on the U.S. side and walking, because it takes the vehicle queue out of the return. For a short appointment that queue can be longer than the treatment.
Does the practice arrange transport?
Directions, parking recommendations and a suggested crossing time come with every appointment. Need a ride from the border? Let us know when you book and we’ll arrange your transportation from the crossing to our studio.
Planning your route
Say how you plan to cross when the appointment is arranged. The route, the parking recommendation and the suggested crossing time are matched to it rather than sent as a standard note.
